Jon Bernthal teases a big return as The Punisher as the actor references where things all started as he will be suiting up as Frank Castle in the MCU’s new Daredevil: Born Again series.
That’s not all, as Deborah Ann Woll also gets in on the fun possibly suggesting her character, Karen Page, will be reuniting with Bernthal in the series.
Jon Bernthal and Deborah Ann Woll posted the following on Instagram, which references the “One Batch, Two Batch” children’s book that Frank Castle used to read to his daughter. Well, we all know how that went as he promised to read her the book “tomorrow,” but tomorrow never came for his daughter.
“Penny and Dime” was the fourth episode of Daredevil Season 2 on Netflix. The episode sees Karen Page discovering the home of Frank Castle where she finds the “One Batch, Two Batch” children’s book as well as photos of Frank and his family.

What is Daredevil: Born Again about?
Following Spider-Man: No Way Home, She-Hulk, Hawkeye, and Echo, both Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio have made their way to the MCU.
Cox will return as Matt Murdock, the Man Without Fear, with D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, The Kingpin; Jon Berthal is also back as The Punisher, with Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson returns as Foggy Nelson, and Wilson Bethel is said to be back as Bullseye.
As we first told you, the series has been getting retooled to make it more in line with the popular Netflix show.
No release date has been announced but it’s thought the series will premiere in 2025 on Disney+.
