Marvel has announced a new companion series for Daredevil: Born Again, giving fans a closer look at the making of the show ahead of Season 2.
The Daredevil: Born Again Official Podcast launches March 17 and marks Marvel Television’s first official series companion video podcast.
The new podcast will debut on Disney+ and run for nine episodes, offering behind-the-scenes conversations with the cast and creative team. Watch the teaser below.
Marvel launches first official Daredevil: Born Again podcast
According to Marvel, the podcast will feature Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, Wilson Bethel, showrunner Dario Scardapane, and more.
The first episode will include Bethel and Scardapane joined by executive producer Sana Amanat and Marvel Television head Brad Winderbaum. Marvel says the discussion will look back at the series so far while also teasing what is next.
Across the nine episodes, the podcast is said to break down individual episodes, point out Easter eggs, and take viewers behind the scenes of the stunts, score, costumes, and other parts of production.
Where to watch the Daredevil: Born Again podcast
The Daredevil: Born Again Official Podcast will be available in multiple formats.
Fans will be able to watch the video version on Disney+ and YouTube. An audio-only version will also be offered through Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other podcast platforms.
That gives Marvel another way to keep attention on the series as Daredevil: Born Again gets ready to return.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 premieres March 24
Marvel also confirmed Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 premieres March 24 on Disney+ at 6 p.m. PT.
The new season sees Mayor Wilson Fisk tightening his grip on New York City while targeting Daredevil as public enemy number one. Matt Murdock, meanwhile, will fight back from the shadows as he looks to bring down Fisk’s corrupt empire and save Hell’s Kitchen.
The podcast launching a week earlier looks like part of Marvel’s push to build anticipation for the new season while giving fans extra content tied directly to the show.
