New Birds of Prey set images reveal Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn sporting a Joker necklace as she shops for exotic animals.
The first teaser released also showed Harley wearing a “Bruce” dog bone necklace, which could be a Batman reference. Now in the set photos, she is seen wearing a “J” necklace while inside “Murray’s Exotic Animals” with the Gotham City PD also present.
It’s possible that Harley Quinn could be purchasing “Bud” and “Lou,” the Joker’s two pet hyenas. Jared Leto is not expected to be featured in the film, hence the official title, “And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn.”

Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) has a February 7, 2020 release directed by Cathy Yan also starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Helena Bertinelli / Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Dinah Lance / Black Canary, Rosie Perez as Gotham City detective Renee Montoya, Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain, Chris Messina as Victor Zsasz, with Ewan McGregor as Black Mask.
The plot is rumored to include that Batman has been missing for years, which gives rise to the villain of the movie, the Gotham crime boss Black Mask, and that the Black Mask kidnaps the young Cassandra Cain to mold her into an assassin, with Harley Quinn, Black Canary and Huntress coming together to rescue Cassandra and put a stop to Black Mask.
