Din and Grogu Return to the Fight

The image features Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) fully armored aboard a ship, with Grogu on his shoulder—watchful and ready.

The shot underscores the pair’s bond and sets the tone for the high-stakes story ahead.

The movie is a direct continuation of the Disney+ series and marks the first Star Wars theatrical release since 2019’s The Rise of Skywalker.

The story picks up after the fall of the Empire, with Din and Grogu working alongside the New Republic to battle remnants of Imperial control.

A Theatrical-Scale Star Wars Adventure

Directed by Jon Favreau, the film is designed for IMAX and brings back key creative talent from the series. Favreau produces alongside Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni, and Ian Bryce, with music by Ludwig Göransson.

The new image follows the release of the film’s first trailer and ties in with recent Empire magazine and USA Today features that confirm the Mandalorian’s priorities have shifted. He’s no longer just a bounty hunter, he’s fighting for something larger.
