Kate Beckinsale Officially Back For Underworld 5

Kate Beckinsale is returning for Underworld 5.

THR reports Beckinsale will be back for the fifth Underworld installment reprising as her vampire character Selene.

Anna Foerster has been named to be directing Underworld 5, with her previous work including being Roland Emmerich’s director of photography on The Day After Tomorrow and White House Down.

Little is known about the plot other than it being said Cory Goodman wrote the script, which will focus on a new and younger generation of vampires and werewolves who are locked in a seemingly never-ending battle between supernatural races.

Theo James will be back as well, who first appeared in 2012’s Underworld: Awakening as David, a fellow vampire.

Underworld 5 will begin shooting this October in Prague.
