Karl Urban wants Dredd 2 on either Amazon Prime or Netflix.
Karl Urban starred in Dredd in 2012, which is considered a big bomb at the box office, but has a huge cult following. The movie only brought in $35 million on a $50 million budget.
There was initial talk of doing a sequel by Urban; however, both the director and producer stated it’s not going to happen, with the reason cited being the obvious: It’s all about money.
Maybe an Amazon or Netflix Dredd 2 movie/series is the way to go?
