Last year it became known that Columbia pictures is remaking the 1995 Jumanji movie said to be a reimagining and update for the present.
It’s also been reported that Zack Helm will write the remake with Matt Tolmach and Bill Teitler on board as producers.
Now Karen Gillan has posted an interesting image along with a just as interesting caption.
“Things are really happening for me,” Gillan tweeted along with the following photo of the board game.
The 1995 movie starring Robin Williams is actually based on the 1981 children’s book by Chris Van Allsburg which saw a follow up from John Favreau with Zathura.
It’s unknown if Karen Gillan posted the image in reference to the remake or something else altogether as I don’t believe a director has been announced on the new Jumanji as of yet.
If Gillan is indeed involved, you wouldn’t hear any complaints by me. She stars as Nebula for Marvel Studios in Guardians of the Galaxy next August.
