JUJUTSU KAISEN fans got a big update during the anime’s live-streamed 5th Anniversary Special, as the first teaser trailer for Season 3 premiered.
The new season, also known as JUJUTSU KAISEN: The Culling Game, will officially stream on Crunchyroll starting January 2026.

The Culling Game Arc Begins
The teaser shows Yuji Itadori struggling after the events of the Shibuya Incident, with guilt weighing on him as he believes he has killed many people. The preview also teases a fierce battle between Yuji and Yuta Okkotsu, who first appeared as the lead character in the prequel film JUJUTSU KAISEN 0. Fans also caught glimpses of Naoya Zen’in clashing with Choso, as well as appearances from Megumi Fushiguro, Yuki Tsukumo, and Maki Zen’in, setting the stage for the high-stakes arc ahead.
Returning Cast and Characters
The Japanese voice cast will once again feature Junya Enoki as Yuji Itadori, Yuma Uchida as Megumi Fushiguro, Daisuke Namikawa as Choso, and Megumi Ogata as Yuta Okkotsu. Their return continues the strong performances that helped make JUJUTSU KAISEN one of the most popular anime in recent years.
Production Staff
Season 3 is directed by Shota Goshozono with scripts by Hiroshi Seko. Character designs come from Yosuke Yajima and Hiromi Niwa, while Junichi Higashi serves as art director. Music is composed by Yoshimasa Terui, and the series is once again animated by MAPPA, the studio behind Chainsaw Man and Attack on Titan Final Season.

The anime follows Yuji Itadori, a high schooler who swallows a cursed object and ends up sharing his body with the deadly Sukuna. Guided by teacher Satoru Gojo, Yuji joins Tokyo Jujutsu High to fight curses and confront his fate.
