Joseph Gordon-Levitt Star Wars The Last Jedi

It’s learned Joseph Gordon-Levitt has joined the cast of Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Director Rian Johnson revealed at a recent Japanese press event that he cast Joseph Gordon-Levitt in a role as the voice of an alien.

“It’s a brief little thing, but it’s fun,” Johnson said about Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s alien role.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Rian Johnson previously worked together in Looper and Brick.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt actually is a big Star War fans and went to the premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens dressed as Yoda.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi has a December 15, 2017 release directed by Rian Johnson starring Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, the late Carrie Fisher as General Leia Organa, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, Daisy Ridley as Rey, John Boyega as Finn, Lupita Nyong’o as Maz Kanata, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, Domhnall Gleeson as Hux, Anthony Daniels as C-3PO, Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma, Andy Serkis as Supreme Leader Snoke, with Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran as Rose.
