Joker Origins Movie Said To Be Super Dark

Those worried that the Joker origins movie is being directed by the director of The Hangover–worry no more. It’s being said that the Joker origins movie, which is set outside the regular DCEU movies, is super dark.

The info comes from Joe Rogan’s podcast which has former MMA fighter Brendan Schaub state he is friends with Todd Feldman who put the Joker origins movie together with Hangover director Todd Phillips and Martin Scorsese.

“My boy Todd Feldman put this together with Todd Phillips and Martin Scorsese. It’s dark. It’s like a dark Joker. As a kid, he had a permanent smile and everyone made fun of him. It’s like on the streets of Brooklyn. It’s super dark and real. I can’t wait.”

As noted, Jared Leto won’t be playing the Joker in the origins movie, but Jared Leto is returning as Joker for the DCEU films, Suicide Squad 2, Gotham City Sirens and a separate Harley Quinn and Joker flick.

Regarding how the Joker origins movie fits into things, Warner Bros. is creating a separate DC brand featuring movies set outside the regular Justice League movie continuity which will enable them to create unique and original films (Superman Red Son may also be in the works).
