James Gunn Confirms When Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Takes Place

We get the timeline of when Guardians of the Galaxy 2 takes place.

A fan questioned director James Gunn on Twitter asking how long after the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie does Guardians of the Galaxy 2 take place.

Gunn responded: “Two months.”

We can speculate that word might have gotten out how the “Guardians of the Galaxy” saved the universe by defeating Ronan. Word might have spread around and certain alien cultures might have their sights now set on the Guardians!

“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” has a May 5, 2017 release directed by James Gunn starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn. New cast members include Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan and Kurt Russell.
