Add another Watchmen actor with Jackie Earle Haley to the DCEU?
Following the casting of Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master in Aquaman and Billy Crudup as Henry Allen in The Flash, it’s now speculated Jackie Earle Haley has a role in either Justice League, Ben Affleck’s Batman, Aquaman, The Flash or even the newly announced Gotham City Sirens.
Again, it’s pure speculation at this point, but clues to the casting of Jackie Earle Haley come from Geoff Johns’ Twitter account, as Johns recently started following Haley. While it might sound like a stretch, Johns also recently follwed Patrick Wilson and Joe Manganiello.
Jackie Earle Haley played Rorschach in Zack Snyder’s Watchmen movie, with Patrick Wilson as Nite Owl and Billy Crudup as Dr. Manhattan. It was also rumored that Jackie Earle Haley was up to play Lex Luthor in Batman vs. Superman at one point. Haley is also featured in the AMC DC show Preacher, Amazon’s The Tick, the Dark Tower movie and Alita: Battle Angel.
Other possible DCEU casting additions related to Geoff Johns’ Twitter account include Armie Hammer, John Cleese, Eiza Gonzalez (also in Alita: Battle Angel) and Shad Gaspard.
