It’s again claimed that Hugh Jackman as Wolverine will be appearing in the upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars movie, arguably the MCU’s biggest flick since Endgame.
Back in 2020 saw YouTuber Grace Randolph offer that Kevin Feige wanted Jackman back in an Avengers movie, and back in March she said Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and the X-Men will be appearing in Avengers: Secret Wars.
“They already announced Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine is coming back for Deadpool 3, so I feel it’s not a detrimental spoiler to say he’s also going to be in Secret Wars,” she said.
Now scooper Daniel RPK says more of the same and claims that before the writers strike, Hugh Jackman had a meeting with Kevin Feige to talk about Wolverine having a big role in Avengers: Secret Wars.

Hugh Jackman returns as Wolverine in Deadpool 3
The Secret Wars story from the comics is a Multiverse story, so it’s guessed that following whatever happens in Deadpool 3 either Hugh Jackman as Wolverine makes his way into the MCU and/or that Avengers: Secret Wars features the Fox Marvel Multiverse.
Deadpool 3 set pics have actually suggested that Deadpool destroys the Marvel Fox Universe, so maybe whoever remains makes their way into the MCU and appears and battles in Avengers: Secret Wars which could include Halle Berry as Storm (there is also speculation Storm is the leader of the X-Men in the upcoming new X-Men ’97 Disney+ animated series, maybe with Wolverine).
Prior to Secret Wars, Marvel also has Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, so maybe Jackman will be appearing in that film as well. Just from outside observations, it seems like Feige is setting up Dynasty and Secret Wars to be similar to Infinity War and Endgame, where instead of Thanos decimating the MCU, Kang decimates the Multiverse which leads to Secret Wars.
Avengers: The Kang Dynasty gets released on May 1, 2026, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars on May 7, 2027.
Deadpool 3 gets released on May 3, 2024.
