Coming to Spike TV is a documentary on Heath Ledger, who is known for portraying The Joker in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight film.

Heath Ledger would have celebrated his 38th birthday today.

The Australian actor passed away January 22, 2008 due to a drug overdose.

Heath Ledger is known for a plethora of movies including The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Brokeback Mountain, The Brothers Grimm, Lords of Dogtown, The Order, Monster’s Ball and The Patriot.

Ledger received a posthumous Academy Award for his role as the Joker winning Best Supporting Actor.

The Heath Ledger documentary airs May 17th on Spike.
