Marvel Studios released the Guardians of the Galaxy 3 Super Bowl trailer on Sunday which shows off new footage from the movie directed by James Gunn.
A new poster has also been released.

What is Guardians of the Galaxy 3 about?
In Marvel Studios âGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3â our beloved band of misfits are looking a bit different these days. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him to defend the universe along with protecting one of their own. A mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.
A recent synopsis also teases the death of Rocket Raccoon:
In Marvel Studiosâ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 our beloved band of misfits are settling into life on Knowhere. But it isnât long before their lives are upended by the echoes of Rocketâs turbulent past. Starring in the movie includes Chris Pratt, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Sean Gunn, Will Poulter, Maria Bakalova and Chukwudi Iwuji.
Guardians of the Galaxy 3 has a May 5, 2023 release date only in theaters.
