Rockstar Games has set a date.
Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI open June 25 across digital storefronts and “select retailers,” the studio announced on X, alongside the reveal of the game’s official cover art, now available as a free download on Rockstar’s site.

GTA 6 Cover Art Revealed
The cover follows the series’ signature collage layout, with Jason and Lucia front and center against a Vice City backdrop.
Rockstar also refreshed the official GTA 6 website with new Vice City artwork.
The new cover art puts Jason and Lucia in Vice City front and center, the same duo introduced in the second trailer.

November Release Date Locked In
More important than the art is what the date confirms: GTA 6 is still on track for November 19.
After Take-Two repeatedly shut down delay talk and confirmed the November window, a hard pre-order date is the clearest signal yet that Rockstar is holding the line. Pre-orders are confirmed for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The GTA 6 Price Is Still a Mystery
What Rockstar still isn’t saying: the price. The announcement made no mention of cost, a notable omission given that Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has spent months declining to commit to a number while insisting the eventual price will be “reasonable”.
With the $100 standard-edition rumor still hanging over the launch, the silence is doing a lot of work.
Pre-orders opening without a posted price are unusual, and it’s fair to expect the number and possibly the long-awaited third trailer to surface on or around June 25.
For now, the date is real, the cover is out, and the price remains the one card Rockstar is keeping face-down.
