Goosebumps 2 Gets Release Date

Sony is moving forward with the sequel to the 2015 Goosebumps movie, which starred Jack Black.

The sequel to Goosebumps will be released January 26th, 2018 with director Rob Letterman expected to return along with writer Darren Lemke and Jack Black back as as R.L. Stine, the author of the popular series of Goosebumps novels. 

The plot is currently unknown, but it’s guessed Goosebumps 2 will also see the return of Dylan Minnette and Odeya Rush as Zach and R.L. Stine’s daughter Hannah (via screen rant).

The Goosebumps movie grossed over $150 million worldwide on a budget of around $58 million.

R.L. Stine is also writing a new Man-Thing comic for Marvel Comics.
