As I previously posted: Have no fear! Geoff Johns is here!

The Wonder Woman movie marks the first DCEU film that Geoff Johns is fully on board. Following the Batman vs. Superman “fallout,” Johns was promoted to president of DC Entertainment and is now more involved in the DC movies than ever before. Johns helped write Wonder Woman and is also co-writing Ben Affleck’s Batman movie.

A few days ago saw an alleged former WB employee attack the Wonder Woman movie, calling it a mess, which caused Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins to take to Twitter to blast the claims.

Now we hear from Geoff Johns who took to Twitter to offer support.

“I am so proud of [Patty Jenkins],” Johns tweeted and also included a big heart emoji in the post.

Things also seem to be on the rise for the rest of DC Entertainment as DC Comics took the top sales spot away from Marvel in the month of July.

“Damn! Congratulations to all my fellow creators on #DCRebirth on those July numbers! Everyone is pouring passion in and it shows! @DCComics,” Johns said.

Following Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot will also be featured in Justice League. Jason Momoa recently posted an image of the two showcasing their musical skills.

“Wonder Woman” has a June 2, 2017 release directed by Patty Jenkins starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright and Connie Nielsen.

Synopsis:

Wonder Woman hits movie theaters around the world next summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action adventure from director Patty Jenkins. Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
