First Look At Mikael Persbrandt As Beorn The Shapeshifter In The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug

A new tie-in book for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug reveals the human form of Beorn The Shapeshifter.

We previously got a look at Beorn in his bear form, but now we can see what actor Mikael Persbrandt looks like in the role.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug opens December 13, 2013 directed by Peter Jackson starring Ian McKellan, Martin Freeman, Elijah Wood, Richard Armitage, Hugo Weaving, Cate Blanchett, Luke Evans, Lee Pace, Luke Evans, Orlando Bloom and Benedict Cumberbatch as the voice of Smaug as well as the Necromancer.
