Elseworlds Crossover: First Look At The Monitor

Elseworlds Crossover: First Look At The Monitor

The CW and DC have released a first look at LaMonica Garrett as The Monitor for the upcoming Arrowverse crossover, Elseworlds.

Mar-Novu in the crossover is described as  “an extraterrestrial being of infinite power.”

“LaMonica was ridiculous, like seeing him in his suit, he’s just a monster,” Grant Gustin told EW.  “He’s like an absolute unit. He doesn’t have to do a lot with his performance. He’s so intimidating with just these subtleties, so that’s dope.”

In the comics, The Monitor is involved with the Crisis On Infinite Earths storyline: As alternate earths are systematically destroyed, the Monitor quickly assembles a team of super-heroes from across time and space to battle his counterpart, the Anti-Monitor, and stop the destruction.”

The Elseworlds crossover stars Stephen Amell, Grant Gustin, Melissa Benoist, Tyler Heochlin as Superman and also introduced Ruby Rose as Batwoman along with Gotham City, Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane, Cassandra Jean Amell as Nora Fries, Jeremy Davies has been cast in the role of Dr. John Deegan, a doctor at Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane who might be crazier than the inmates he treats, with John Wesley Shipp reprising his 90s Flash role.

The three-night Arrowverse crossover airs Sunday, Dec. 9 with The Flash, followed by Monday, Dec. 10 with Arrow, and concludes Tuesday, Dec. 11 with Supergirl.
