Elizabeth Banks Cast As Power Rangers Movie Villain

The Power Rangers movie has found its villain, and it’s Elizabeth Banks.

THR reports Banks will play the classic Power Rangers villain Rita Repulsa, an alien witch who has designs on the planet.

Rita was featured in Season 1 of the Power Rangers series played by Carla Perez. 

Power Rangers has a January 13, 2017 release directed by Dean Israelite (Project Almanac) with Power Rangers creator, HaimSaban, producing the film, starring: Naomi Scott as the Pink Ranger, Dacre Montgomery as the Red Ranger, RJ Cyler as the Blue Ranger, Ludi Lin as the Black Ranger and Becky Gomez as the Yellow Ranger.
