Dwayne Johnson Says Very Cool Stuff Coming To The DCEU

Though a recent reports claims both the Wonder Woman and Justice League movie are having problems, Dwayne Johnson has taken to Twitter to state some very cool stuff is coming to the DCEU.

Dwayne Johnson is set to play Black Adam in the upcoming Shazam! movie in which the actor recently took a meeting with DC.

“Had a very cool and strategic meeting with the heads of DC about their entire universe,” Johnson first posted a few days ago. “As a hard core DC fan, to get a real sense of the tonal shifts and developments coming in these future movies has me fired up. Something we, as DC fans have all been waiting for for a very long time. Hope, optimism & FUN. Even when talking about the the most ruthless villain/anti-hero of all time finally coming to life. Prepare yourselves DC Universe.”

A fan responded to Dwayne Johnson on Twitter with worry about changes being “unnatural,” which saw The Rock reply with the following response to alleviate any fears.

“Totally hear you man. Nothing unnatural and real effort to expand and elevate the universe. Very cool stuff,” Johnson replied and added a “thumbs up” emoji.

The Shazam! movie is currently in development and thought to have a 2019 release date.
