Bethesda and id Software released the first teaser trailer for the new Doom during E3 2014, offering a brief look at the long-awaited return of the franchise. The footage shows a cyberdemon being assembled before ending with the Doom logo.
The trailer doesn’t show gameplay, but Bethesda confirmed a full reveal will take place at QuakeCon 2014. The game has been in development for years under the Doom 4 name, though the new teaser appears to position it as a fresh start for the series.
