Deadpool & Wolverine has done it again and blows by another Marvel movie at the box office, this time Iron Man 3, and becomes the MCU’s seventh top-grossing movie of all time.
As of Tuesday, Deadpool & Wolverine has grossed $1,215,929,937 worldwide, which surpasses Iron Man 3’s $1,215,577,205 box office.
To date, the flick has past Captain Marvel, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Captain America: Civil War on the all-time MCU charts (see below).
Deadpool & Wolverine now has its sights set on Black Panther, which has a $1.3 billion gross.
Worth a mention is that Deadpool & Wolverine hit the mark in just its first 33 days of release. Iron Man 3 was in theaters for more than double that, seventy days.
The flick also continues to outpace the MCU’s Iron Man and Avengers movies, domestically.
In its first 33 days, Deadpool & Wolverine has brought in $581M at the domestic box office. For comparison, Iron Man 3 finished its entire domestic run with $409M. Likewise, Avengers: Age of Ultron finished its domestic run with $459M.
It’s also expected that Deadpool & Wolverine will be the #1 movie at the box off this weekend, its fifth time to do so.
