Deadpool & Wolverine joins the billion dollar club, as after being open for only seventeen days, the box office is presently at $1.029B.
That includes $494.3 million domestically and $535.2 million from foreign grosses.
Deadpool & Wolverine is the first MCU movie in five years to hit that magical billion dollar number, since Avengers: Endgame.
It’s also the first superhero movie to do so in two and a half years ago, since Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Deadpool & Wolverine is also tracking as the MCU’s fourth highest domestic box office, recently passing Black Panther, and trailing Infinity War, No Way Home, and Endgame.
Overall, Deadpool & Wolverine is at #10 on the MCU box office charts, but will likely go higher as it passes Captain Marvel ($1.128B) and possibly more.
The flick will also soon pass Joker ($1.078B) as the highest-grossing R-rated movie.
Deadpool & Wolverine also takes the top box office for the third weekend in a row with $54M. Check out the box office numbers below.
