Sorry, Swifties, Taylor Swift will not be appearing in the upcoming Deadpool 3 MCU movie from Marvel Studios, and neither will Taron Egerton as Wolverine.
Apparently, some sort of rumor has suggested thatĀ American singer and songwriter, Taylor Swift, is going to play Dazzler in Deadpool 3, but Twitter scooper MyTimeToShineHello has shot that down.
In the comics, Dazzler is a mutant, and similar to Taylor Swift, is a singer and a performer.
However, while Taylor Swift seemingly has the mutant power to sell out shows, Dazzler has the power to convert sound vibrations into light and energy beams, with the ability allowing Dazzler to create dazzling light displays, as well as using the energy beams for offensive and defensive purposes.

No Taron Egerton as Wolverine for Deadpool 3
Following Hugh Jackman having first retired from playing Wolverine after Logan, rumors and fan speculation ran rampant that Taron Egerton would play the new Wolverine in the MCU.
Taron Egerton actually said he hoped to succeed Jackman in the role, but according to the Twitter scooper, Taron Egerton won’t be in Deadpool 3 as Wolverine.

Deadpool 3 takes place in the Fox Marvel Universe
Deadpool 3 is known to be taking place in the Fox Marvel Universe but presently, it is unknown if there will be Variants of any of the characters from the Multiverse.
It is speculated Deadpool 3 might be self-contained in the Fox Marvel Universe along with appearances from actors and characters from the other Fox Marvel properties, such as X-Men and Fantastic Four.
Owen Wilson from the Loki MCU Disney+ shows is also said to be hot on the heels of Deadpool for messing up the Multiverse, so there would be an MCU connection but again, nothing about Variants.
It’s further said Dafne Keen as X-23 won’t be in the flick as well as it’s said most of the film takes place during the original X-Men trilogy.

Marvel will eventually get a new Wolverine, and it has been said MCU producers are excited about recasting a new Wolverine, so who knows? Maybe not for Deadpool 3, but maybe Taron Egerton will play the new MCU version sometime down the line.
Deadpool 3 gets released on May 3, 2024, directed by Shawn Levy.
