Ryan Reynolds Responds To Deadpool 2 PG-13 Re-Release

Ryan Reynolds Responds Deadpool 2 PG-13

Fox Studios recently announced a slew of new release dates including a Deadpool 2 PG-13 re-release, which will go up against WB’s Aquaman, Paramount’s Bumblebee, Sony’s Holmes and Watson, and Universal’s Welcome to Marwen.

Now Ryan Reynolds takes to social media to respond with the following image:

The images features Deadpool telling a bedtime story to an adult Fred Savage, which is a nod to The Princess Pride movie, which featured Peter Falk reading a story to a younger Fred Savage and skipping over all the scary parts.

So we see Reynolds is basically confirming the Deadpool 2 PG-13 re-release as obviously all the R-rated content will be stripped out.

Worth a mention is that Deadpool is also wearing a Santa hat in the photo, as the re-release hits December 21, with Christmas decorations in the background.

It will be interesting to see how the PG-13 release does for the flick, as the movies still generate close to $800 million worldwide. It will also be interesting to see if the Deadpool PG-13 re-release impacts DC and James Wan’s Aquaman movie, which already has competition from the new Transformers Bumblebee.
