The Dark Knight Rises (2012): Joey King To Play Young Talia Al Ghul

It’s been long said that Marion Cotillard’s character, Miranda Tate, is actually Talia Al Ghul, the daughter of Liam Neeson’s Ra’s Al Ghul, in The Dark Knight Rises.

While that actually hasn’t been officially announced, a younger version of Talia has been confirmed to appear in The Dark Knight Rises.

Joey King, a young actress who is set to have a role in Christopher Nolan’s third and final Batman installment, let it be known that she plays a young Talia Al Ghul.

“I play young Talia al Ghul,” King told MyEntertainmentWorld. “I can’t give too much away because I promised Mr. Nolan I wouldn’t say anything. There are too many secrets about the character and the movie.”

Previously, the part was mentioned by a mother of an 8 year old who wouldn’t let her daughter take the role as the movie required her head to be shaven.
