A new image has been released for Daredevil: Born Again that reunites the original Netflix cast, and Charlie Cox teases that the stuff hits the fan.
The image features Cox paired with Deborah Ann Woll who returns as Karen Page and Elden Henson as Foggy.
Just as our insiders first told you, Daredevil: Born Again was retooled to make it more in line with the Netflix show, which Cox confirms in an interview with Empire Magazine.
“There was talk early on about reinventing the whole thing, to see if Matt was a slightly different person,” Cox said. “But it ended up more of a continuation.”
The article also reveals the events of Daredevil: Born Again will follow the Netflix Daredevil show as well as Defenders.
“A lot of the history follows on,” confrimed Cox. “The relationships and dynamics set up in the previous seasons still exist.”
Last we seen of Karen and Foggy was in Defenders when they formed the Nelson, Murdock & Page law firm.
“A few years have passed,” Cox explained. “In that time, Matt, Foggy, and Karen have found a pretty good rhythm.”
Cox also teases that the Man Without Fear has found some peace following the Netflix shows, but it won’t remain for long.
“Matt’s made peace with his role both as a lawyer and a vigilante,” said Cox. “Then, of course, shit hits the fan.”
In addition to Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, and Elden Henson, confirmed to be returning for Daredevil: Born Again includes Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk and Jon Bernthal returns as fan-favorite Frank Castle, The Punisher.
Daredevil: Born Again is set for a March 5, 2025 release.
