According to Splash Report, Daniel Craig is being eyed for Mr. Sinister!
The site claims there are conversations about signing Daniel Craig to play Nathaniel Essex, aka Mr. Sinister, in Gambit and additional movies.
The Gambit movie continues to be in development thanks to both the Deadpool and the Logan films, as according to Channing Tatum, they kept running into problems, “and then Deadpool and Logan came through and kicked the doors down.”
Channing Tatum also previously revealed they are starting over on a new script.
Regarding the Gambit rumored plot, it’s said that Mr. Sinister is the secret employer of Remy Lebeau (Channing Tatum) who is hired to steal a mystery box from the Louvre Museum in France, with Gambit recruiting a crew of mutants to pull the heist off.
