Watch footage from tonight’s episode of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD featuring the origin of the Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider!
Robbie Reyes tells his brother Gabriel the story of how he became Ghost Rider. As the two were attacked and shot, Robbie’s body was thrown from the vehicle. Gabriel thought a “Good Samaritan” saved them both, but it was something else entirely!
The Good Samaritan arrives on a motorcycle (Johnny Blaze?! Dan Ketch? Zarathos?!) and pulls Gabriel from the burning car. The Good Samaritan then goes over to the lifeless body of Robbie, and but with a touch — revives him!
Update: Clark Gregg confirms identity of Ghost Rider.
Robbie then tells Gabriel what really happened: As his body was thrown from the car, Robbie asks anybody that would listen – God, the universe, anybody! – he would do anything if his brother’s life was saved! Then, The Rider appears! What Gabriel didn’t see was that the Good Samaritan was another Ghost Rider! As this motorcycle version of Ghost Rider touches Robbie, it transfers the Ghost Rider into him! Now Robbie is the Ghost Rider thirsting for vengeance!
