It’s being said a planned director’s cut of Batman Vs. Superman is rated-R.

The info comes from the Disney News fan site, Stitch Kingdom, who tweeted out: the “Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition Blu-ray rated R for sequences of violence” and posted a screenshot of what looks to be Warner Home Entertainment notice also stating it’s the “EDITED VERSION” and “CONTENT IS DIFFERENT THAN THE PG-13 VERSION.”

The Batman Vs. Superman PG-13 version is what will be featured March 25th in movie theaters.

The news follows the success of the rated-R Deadpool movie, which certainty isn’t a coincidence, as Deadpool exploded at the box office and currently sits at about $500 million worldwide — ten times their budget.
