The actor answered a fan’s question on Twitter, “So you’re gonna play Shazam, right?” with a big, “Yup!”
That sure sounds like he’s playing Shazam! However, is Alan Ritchson playing the CGI version of the character? Ritchson played the CGI version of Raphael in the TMNT movies, so it’s possible WB could be going a digital route for Shazam.
We’ll have to wait until official word comes from WB, but it’s possible Alan Ritchson could be playing Shazam opposite Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam.
