DC Comics has confirmed my Comic-Con scoop about Stan Lee.
While I was at the San Diego Comic-Con I tweeted some kind of Stan Lee “Presents” DC comics stuff is happening, and then I wrote about it back in August in the article about how David Zaslav is targeting DC Comics and how Geoff Johns is ushering in a new DC Golden Age.
DC insiders filled me in on the Stan Lee take on the DC Comics and they were the same ones who also filled me in that Henry Cavill can return as Superman if he wants to and that Dwayne Johnson wants to take over the DC films.
As I also said, my friend stopped and had a chat with Batman producer Michael Uslan outside Comic-Con as well where low and behold the official DC Comics Stan Lee announcement has Uslan involved.
Regarding the DC Comics Stan Lee project, last Thursday saw DC Comics announce “Tales from Earth-6: A Celebration of Stan Lee” described as “a commemorative one-shot anthology featuring new stories based on Lee’s (with film producer Michael Uslan) interpretations of core DC characters from his Just Imagine series of one-shots (2001-2002).”
Check out the announcement and art below which is a “Stan Lee” take on DC Comics characters including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Catwoman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Sandman, Shazam, and Aquaman.
