Captain Marvel set pics featuring Brie Larson as Carol Danvers have hit the net.
The images reveal Brie Larson as Carol Danvers as she looks in the 1990s, which is when the movie is set.
The images don’t offer much, but we do see Brie Larson is sporting a flannel wrapped around her waste. I wonder if Carol Danvers is a Pearl Jam fan?!

Speaking of the ’90s, Marvel Studios recently officially announced the cast, which will include Clark Gregg returning to the big screen as Phil Coulson along with Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Lee Pace (Ronan) and Djimon Hounsou as Korath.
The inclusion of Coulson and SHIELD makes sense because Captain Marvel takes place prior to The Winter Soldier, which destoryed SHIELD in the MCU. Samuel L. Jackson also makes his return as Nick Fury.
Ronan and Korath also fit with the movie because the Skrulls are featured in Captain Marvel who are the sworn enemies of the Kree.
Captain Marvel has been described as “hilarious” by the writer, so it looks like Marvel Studios is again trying to capitalize on the tone of Guardians of the Galaxy and Thor: Ragnarok.
Captain Marvel hits March 8, 2019.
Based on the Marvel comic character first appearing in 1968, the story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races.
