Brandon Routh Superman Arrives In ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ Season 5 Trailer

The Brandon Routh Superman kicks off the rather strange trailer for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Season 5.

Routh will be appearing both as Superman and ATOM in the Crisis On Infinite Earths mega-event crossover.

Osric Chau will be playing the new Atom who first appears in Crisis.

It has also been announced that Brandon Routh will be leaving Legends of Tomorrow this season, but the hope is that Routh will be doing a Kingdom Come Superman series on HBO Max (unconfirmed).

“My final day of filming with my Legends Family. I love you all and appreciate the 5 seasons we’ve spent together,” Routh posted on Instagram in October. “It hasn’t always been easy, but I think that’s what makes it harder to leave—getting through the growing pains of the first few seasons has bonded us. And made the last three seasons a blast! I’ve never been at a job this long, so this is new for me. I think I will miss you all and the fun we’ve had making this silly show on the Waverider—as much as I’ll miss bringing Ray Palmer to life. Love and blessings on a great finish to the season.”

Crisis On Infinite Earths airs Sunday, December 8 with Supergirl, followed by Part 2 on Monday, December 9, 2019 with Batwoman, followed by Part 3 with The Flash on Tuesday, December 10, part 4 airs Tuesday, January 14 with Arrow, and the event series concludes Tuesday, January 14, 2020 with DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Season 5 officially kicks off January 21.
