The Avengers: Doomsday trailer rumors just took another turn, and this time the claim is coming from a major trade.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel is planning to release four different trailers for Avengers: Doomsday, each attached to theatrical screenings of Avatar: Fire and Ash.
The rollout would reportedly happen one trailer per week, turning the marketing campaign itself into a month-long event.
If accurate, it would mean fans would need to see Avatar four separate weeks in a row to catch every version of the Doomsday preview in theaters.
Disney is obviously doing this as a ploy to bump up the Avatar: Fire and Ash box office, which reportedly needs to hit a billion dollars just to break even.

Four Trailers, One Per Week
THR’s report aligns closely with recent chatter suggesting Marvel has been experimenting with multiple trailer cuts.
However, the new detail — four versions instead of three — suggests an even more aggressive strategy than initially rumored.
Each trailer is said to be different, with unique footage and emphasis, rather than minor edits of the same cut.
While it’s unclear how much overlap there will be, the idea appears to be positioning Avengers: Doomsday as an evolving reveal rather than a single trailer drop.
It’s also unknown if the trailers will become available online.

Release info
Avatar: Fire and Ash starts playing in theaters on Thursday, Dec. 18, and then goes wide on Friday, Dec. 19th.
Avengers: Doomsday lands in theaters a year later on December 18, 2026.
