At the D23 Expo over the weekend, Kevin Feige announced the Avengers Campus is expanding with King Thanos and the Multiverse.
“Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige revealed that a brand new attraction is coming soon to Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort that will let recruits fight join the fight to stop a new threat, King Thanos, a Multiverse variant designed specifically for Avengers Campus,” announced Marvel.com
The site continues, “The third attraction to join Avengers Campus — alongside Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission – BREAKOUT and WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure — will soon head into the Multiverse alongside fan-favorite Super Heroes, because joining forces with the Avengers means facing foes from anywhere and everywhen!”

King Thanos first appeared in the Marvel Comics in Thanos #13 (2017) where after killing everything in the universe he wanted to die so he could join Death.
So King Thanos sends his servant – none other than Frank Castle as the Rider (a version of the Cosmic Ghost Rider) – to go back in time and bring his younger self to the future to kill him.
Long story short, the two battle but when King Thanos begs for death, the younger version is disgusted by it, grabs the Time Stone, and vows never to become King Thanos. So King Thanos’ timeline fades away…
