Yesterday saw the release of the new Netflix trailer for Marvel’s Iron Fist, which many fans out there thought was a lot similar to DC’s Arrow TV series.
Stephen Amell, who plays Oliver Queen and is the star of Arrow, commented on a fan’s remark on Facebook: “…so, how do you feel about the talk going around that Marvel’s Iron Fist looks a lot like Season 1 of Arrow? Do you agree/ disagree?”
“I could care less!” Amell responded, which was rewarded with hundreds of likes by his followers.
A fan on YouTube even offered up the following:
My name is Danny Rand. For fifteen years, I was lost and presumed dead with only one goal: survive. Now I will fulfill my father’s dying wish – to serve his company once more, and to save my city. To do this, I must become someone else. I must become something else.
Comparisons to Arrow weren’t the only ones the Iron Fist trailer received as some fans even said it reminded them of Iron Man, as Finn Jones’ Danny Rand does a version of the superhero landing punch.
