As Aquaman undergoes reshoots, it’s learned that Randall Park has been added to the cast.
James Wan took to Twitter to reveal that Randall Park is playing Dr. Shin in Aquaman.
“So happy and fortunate to be finally working with this man, @parkrandall, on pickups. #DrShin,” Wan posted.
Randall Park is known for The Interview, Fresh Off the Boat and is playing Jimmy Woo for Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp.

In the DC comics, Stephen Shin was at first a friend of Tom Curry and the young Arthur Curry and even helped the young Arthur Curry develop his powers, but Shin turned on Aquaman and tried to hill him when he wouldn’t reveal the location of Atlantis.
Aquaman has a December 21, 2018 release starring Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Patrick Wilson as Orm the Ocean Master, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, with Temuera Morrison as Aquaman’s father, Thomas Curry, Nicole Kidman is playing the mother to Aquaman, Queen Atlanna, and Dolph Ludgren is King Nereus.
