Apple is bringing back its sci-fi series Invasion for a third season, with the premiere set for Friday, August 22 on Apple TV+. One episode drops on premiere day, followed by weekly releases every Friday through October 24.
Watch the new teaser below.

Story picks up with united resistance
Invasion follows a global response to an alien threat, told from multiple character perspectives. Season 3 brings those threads together for the first time, as the characters unite for a mission to infiltrate the alien mothership. New apex-level aliens have emerged and are spreading across Earth. The characters—veterans of the invasion—are now forced to operate as a team to try and stop them.
The season teases relationship shifts and personal conflict as the characters adapt to their new roles in the resistance effort.

Returning cast and new addition
Season 3 stars Golshifteh Farahani, Shioli Kutsuna, Shamier Anderson, India Brown, Shane Zaza, and Enver Gjokaj. Erika Alexander joins the cast in a new series regular role.

Series background and production
Created by Simon Kinberg (X-Men, Deadpool) and David Weil (Hunters), Invasion has been described as upping the stakes each season. Kinberg and Weil return as executive producers along with Audrey Chon, David Witz, Alik Sakharov, Dan Dietz, Katie O’Connell Marsh, and Nick Nantell.
Seasons 1 and 2 are currently available to stream on Apple TV+.
