Apple has released the trailer for Season 3 of Foundation, which returns Friday, July 11 on Apple TV+. The sci-fi series—based on Isaac Asimov’s work—stars Jared Harris, Lee Pace, and Lou Llobell. The new season picks up 152 years after the events of Season 2.
Now established well beyond its origins, the Foundation faces a new galactic threat. Meanwhile, the Empire—under the weakening Cleonic Dynasty—must form a shaky alliance with its rival. At the center of the conflict is a rising warlord known as The Mule, who uses both military power and mind control to threaten the balance of power across the galaxy.

New Cast Members Join the Series
New to the cast includes Jared Harris, Lee Pace, Lou Llobell, Cherry Jones, Brandon P. Bell, Synnøve Karlsen, Cody Fern, Tómas Lemarquis, Alexander Siddig, Troy Kotsur, and Pilou Asbæk.
Returning cast includes Laura Birn, Cassian Bilton, Terrence Mann, and Rowena King.
Release Schedule and Production Team
Season 3 consists of 10 episodes. The premiere drops July 11, with a new episode released every Friday through September 12.
