Marvel Studios has released a first look at Michelle Pfeiffer in Ant-Man and the Wasp in the following poster showcasing the actress as Janet Van Dyne, the mother to Evangeline Lilly’s Hope Van Dyne.
The character was first mentioned in Ant-Man and has been seemingly lost in the Quantum Realm. We see the poster offers a look at her costume as Janet Van Dyne is the original Wasp.
“It had this great sense of humor about it and just this unusual tone,” Pfeiffer recently told Variety about Ant-Man and the Wasp. “This new script has the same thing. It’s nicely written.”
Marvel also released two dozen high-res images.
Ant-Man and the Wasp opens July 6, 2018 directed by Peyton Reed starring Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne/Wasp, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne, Michael Peña as Luis, Laurence Fishburne as Doctor Bill Foster, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Randall Park as Sgent Jimmy Woo, Judy Greer as Maggie Lange and Walter Goggins as Sonny Burch.
