Alexander Skarsgard Starring in Godzilla vs King Kong

Alexander Skarsgård, known for The Legend of Tarzan, is set to starring in the upcoming Godzilla vs. King Kong movie from Legendary Entertainment and Warner Bros.

No details are known about his character, but he joins Julian Dennison, Brian Tyree Henry and Demian Bichir as members of the cast.

It’s also been reported that Godzilla vs King Kong is set to start filming this month in Hawaii.

Godzilla vs Kong has a May 22, 2020 release date directed by Adam Wingard and is said to also star Millie Bobby Brown, Danai Gurira, Kyle Chandler, Ziyi Zhang and Van Marten, though the cast has yet to be officially announced. No specific plot details are known but the flick obviously pits the King of the Monsters vs the giant Ape from Skull Island.

Speaking of the King of the Monsters, Godzilla vs. Kong follows the release of the upcoming Godzilla: King of the Monsters film, which gets released May 31, 2019 and follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species — thought to be mere myths — rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance..
