With the news that Agents of SHIELD will be at the upcoming WonderCon later this month, Marvel reveals the series returns in May with a new poster.
“They’re back,” the show’s social media accounts teased.
Details for Season 6 includes that Clark Gregg will be back – not as Phil Coulson – but some sort of mystery character.
“The Coulson role and persona, though always evolving and always having new parts of him revealed to me by our writers, became a very familiar skin,” Clark Gregg recently told Marvel. “And to change all that and find myself playing another very mysterious person who is not Phil Coulson and the mystery of who that person is and why he looks like that is something that they’ve done groundbreaking, wild stuff with that I’m really lucky to play.”
