Paramount has shifted the release of A Quiet Place Part III, giving the horror franchise some breathing room away from James Gunn’s Superman sequel, Man of Tomorrow.
New Release Date
Originally scheduled for July 9, 2027, A Quiet Place Part III will now hit theaters July 30, 2027.
The move takes the John Krasinski-directed installment out of direct competition with Man of Tomorrow, which opens on July 9. For now, A Quiet Place Part III has the later July date to itself.

Superman Sequel Competition
James Gunn’s Superman reboot released this past summer and pulled in $615.78 million at the global box office.
Warner Bros. quickly set a sequel, Man of Tomorrow, for July 2027. With the new date change, Paramount avoids a direct clash between two tentpole franchises.

A Quiet Place Box Office History
The A Quiet Place films have been steady performers for Paramount:
- A Quiet Place Part II (2020) earned nearly $300 million worldwide.
- A Quiet Place: Day One (2024) made $261.9 million globally.
Paramount is betting Part III can build on that success without going head-to-head against a Superman movie.
Who’s Behind Part III
John Krasinski returns as director, writer, and producer for A Quiet Place Part III.
The film continues Paramount’s horror-thriller franchise, which has become one of the studio’s most consistent performers since the first film in 2018.
