Following Batman and Deadpool, Superman and Spider-Man are teaming up again as DC Comics and Marvel continue their crossover initiative through 2026.
Timed with the 50th anniversary of Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man, the publishers will reprint classic stories and release new one-shots featuring the two icons.
Classic Treasury Editions Return
The crossover kicks off on January 7, 2026, when DC releases Treasury Edition 50th Anniversary of Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man #1. This facsimile edition reprints the groundbreaking 1976 comic that first brought together DC’s Man of Steel and Marvel’s Web-Slinger.
On February 4, 2026, DC follows up with DC and Marvel Present: Superman and Spider-Man Treasury Edition #1, a reprint of Marvel Treasury Edition #28. Both oversized editions (10 1/8” x 13 5/16”) will give modern readers the chance to experience these historic crossovers in their original format.
New Superman and Spider-Man Stories in 2026
The reprints set the stage for two new comics.
In March 2026, DC publishes Superman/Spider-Man #1, followed by Marvel’s Spider-Man/Superman #1 in April 2026.
