A pair of scoopers is claiming to have revealed Emma Corrin’s villain for Deadpool 3 and it’s said not to be Danger who she was previously thought to be playing.
According to both Daniel RPK and Can We Get Toast, Emma Corrin is playing in Deadpool 3 none other than Professor Xavier’s psionically empowered psychopathic twin sister, Cassandra Nova.
Cassandra Nova was created back in 2001 created by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely and is a really evil and brutal character as she is known for commanding an army of Sentinels to massacre 16 million mutants within the mutant homeland of Genosha.
Solicits from back in 2011 for Morrison’s New X-Men run offer:

NEW X-MEN BY GRANT MORRISON BOOK 4 GN-TPB
His name is Charles Xavier — and he is a mutant. For years, Professor X was widely regarded as an authority on genetic mutation, as well as an advocate of peaceful relations between man and mutant. The general public was unaware he possessed superhuman abilities until the psionically empowered psychopath Cassandra Nova — his twin sister — addressed the global media while in possession of her brother’s body and broke his decades-long silence. But in attempting to expose Xavier to his enemies, she freed him from his self-imposed exile. From the teeming city streets of Mutant Town to the irradiated ruins of the island nation Genosha, once a haven for mutants, the X-Men set out to heal the rift between humanity and Homo superior — only to uncover a terrifying new threat to both species! Collecting NEW X-MEN (2001) #127-133.
Who is Cassandra Nova?
Cassandra Nova is actually a psychic entity and a twin sister of Charles Xavier, who is also known as Professor X, the founder of the X-Men. However, Cassandra Nova was believed to have died in the womb before birth due to Charles Xavier’s psychic powers. In reality, she had survived as a separate consciousness and developed a deep-seated hatred for mutants, particularly her brother Charles.
Cassandra Nova is depicted as an incredibly powerful telepath with malicious intentions. She orchestrates various schemes to target mutants and endanger mutantkind. One of her notable actions is orchestrating an attack on Genosha, a fictional island inhabited by mutants, resulting in a massive loss of life of 16 million mutants. She also played a significant role in the “E is for Extinction” storyline within Grant Morrison’s “New X-Men” run.
Cassandra Nova’s abilities include telepathy, mind control, and the ability to manipulate and reshape matter on a molecular level.
Emma Corrin excited to play Deadpool 3 villain
Patrick Stewart happens to be rumored to be returning for Deadpool 3, which also just might include James McAvoy back as Charles Xavier as well, so rumors that Emma Corrin is playing the evil sister could be true.
We can also add Professor X’s half-brother, Juggernaut, was a villain in Deadpool 2, so the info fits with the third movie.
Corrin recently said she is really excited to play the villain.
“I feel really excited to play a villain,” Corrin told Empire Magazine. “I haven’t done that, and it’s an itch I want to scratch. I’d heard about the project but, classic Marvel, they couldn’t tell me anything about it. Absolutely nothing. Zilch. So I met [director Shawn Levy] being like, ‘I don’t know what this is about.’”
Corrin continued, “Hands up, I’m not a Marvel person. I’ve watched Spider-Man and Black Panther. I was like, ‘Look, you’re gonna have to debrief me into this.’ It’s such an intricate world. There’s so much to it, it’s an absolute mind-fuck. All the language and the Easter eggs, and this person is related to that person who did this, and this person came back and this person’s dead… it’s amazing. I really understand why it means as much as it does to so many people. It’s a phenomenon, and I feel really lucky to be part of it. Especially Deadpool, because I love the fact that it’s self-aware, and critical of its own inner-workings.”
The untitled Deadpool 3 has a May 3, 2024 release date starring Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds.
