With Ben Affleck out of the picture, a new younger Bruce Wayne needs to be cast, so how about Robert Pattinson as Batman?
While Robert Pattinson is known for playing the sparkling vampire, Edward, in the Twilight movies, Boss Logic whipped up fan art to help convince us that Pattinson could play the new Dark Knight.
Robert Pattinson fits the mold of the rumored description for Matt Reeves’ Batman being around 26-31 years old, as Pattinson is 32-years-old and he is listed at 6′ 1″.
Other actors rumored include Armie Hammer, Kit Haringon, Nicholas Hoult and more. Check out a list here of 13 possibilities said to be contenders.
The Batman has a June 25, 2021 release with Matt Reeves directing and writing the script. Reeves previously offered his take on the Caped Crusader will be an original noir detective story.
“It’s very much a point of view-driven, noir Batman tale. It’s told very squarely on his shoulders, and I hope it’s going to be a story that will be thrilling but also emotional,” Reeves said. “It’s more Batman in his detective mode than we’ve seen in the films. The comics have a history of that. He’s supposed to be the world’s greatest detective, and that’s not necessarily been a part of what the movies have been. I’d love this to be one where when we go on that journey of tracking down the criminals and trying to solve a crime, it’s going to allow his character to have an arc so that he can go through a transformation.
