Earlier today saw the first batch of Captain Marvel images released, which includes a first look at Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.
Marvel used special de-aging technology to the actor took look like his 1990s self.
Details for Nick Fury in the movie include that the character is: a lowly S.H.I.E.L.D. desk jockey (who hasn’t yet met any superheroes). He’s younger than we’ve ever seen him, and perhaps most shocking of all, he’s missing his signature eyepatch.
Samuel L. Jackson took to Instagram to share his thoughts: “Wow, this Marvel de-aging thing is doper than I thought!”
